Failed to open archive, ****\Speech-****.MPQ

Hey all,

Whenever I run my WoW Launcher, and click on play, an error message occurs saying 'Failed to open archive, ****\Speech-****.MPQ'

I've tried using the repair utility, but that is bugged/broken as it tells me I don't have enough memory for it, when I'm retaining 120 GB spare space on my hard drive.

I'm wondering if anyone could help me find an alternate solution, apart from reinstalling, Thanks.

Hi,

Are you using Windows Vista?, the error your getting is due the missing file mentioned in the error, running the repair tool should work providing it can correctly detect the amount of free space on your HDD.

Could you also check if you have a Data/enGB folder.
