Ok I am reading the wording of the TG talent come 3.1. Does it mean that using in the main hand a two handed weapon and in the off hand a single handed weapon the 10% peanalty will be avoided?
Q u o t e:
Nope, it will affect all dmg. So also 2h+1h, 2h+shield.
This is correct.

^ This. Why should we spend 5 points into a talent, that will will be erased upon taking ONE more talent??
We spend FIVE points in unending Fury, and it goes all away with that ONE point with Titans Grip, very wrong this. They should make Unending Fury do something more than just increase damage by 10% if this was to happen.
You can look at this talent in so many ways, and consider so many factors, but you cannot escape the fact that the single point talent provided too much of a dps increase.

One way to alter this would be to simply make the talent a multiple point talent, as opposed to costing a single talent point. In order to also make this a viable fix, we would be forced to make the initial ranks close to being non effective. Then, using a multiple point talent system, how would it work? We cannot split a 2 handed weapon in to 5 pieces and allow you to equip each piece depending on how many talents you've spent. Finding an alternative to this is what we have done, and even with the change in place, the talent clearly increases dps. It just does not increase it as much as it once did, and this was our goal.

Of course, we're open to constructive suggestions as to how this could be changed in other ways. We've had some feedback on it already and passed it on, and we will do the same with further reasonable suggestions you folks make.

Keep it constructive, please. Rather than having to cull trolls, I would rather praise feedback of a valuable nature. So far it has been 50/50 in this thread, and I'd like to see this swing in the favour of the valuable information and not the garbage. Cheers.

So, hunters will lose explosive shot then eh? One talent point that gives mega DPS increase should be nerfed according to you Mr Blizzard poster.

Q u o t e:
Explosive Shot: Base damage lowered by 10%. Attack power scaling reduced by 12.5%. The periodic damage from this ability no longer triggers Judgement of Wisdom and Judgement of Light.
