here is mine. was way back in mid vanilla. someone did ask if i wanted to tag along for WC. in which i did reply. no i do not want to go for the toilet with you. little did i know it was wailing caverns

I think I've already shared this story before, but it's always good for a laugh so might as well share it again! Cracking bants and all.

Once upon a time, way back in the day:

Be me.

Make a Warlock.

Quest a little bit and find a vendor that sells companion pets.

Buy a pet. Squee with happiness at my new cute little adventuring buddy.

Do lots more quests, wonder why my cute little pet is still level 1 while my Imp has levelled with me.

Ask a guildie why my little pet isn't levelling up.

Get told that it's because I'm not a hunter.

Cue crushing disappointment and embarassment.
