Unable to link Enchanting profession to chat

I had a talk with a game master about this issue at morning (sorry, forgot your name already!) and he wasn't able to help other than to open the problem for further investigation. I figured I'd post here as well incase there are others who are having similar trouble which might help to track the problem down.

My warlock (this char) is unable to link her enchanting to others in chat. When linking enchanting it shows initially fine but when I actually send the chat message it disappears along with any text after it. This only applies to her enchanting and I can link her other professions (tailoring, cooking and first aid) just fine. Other characters also work fine including a character with 300 enchanting skill which can be linked without problems.

Done all obvious repair attempts from removing addons, cache, Interface, WTF, running repair.exe, reseting the chat settings and so on. GM I talked this morning was also quite baffled and could not offer any advice other than report it for further investigation. Using Windows XP and English language pack.

edit: as an update:

Originally enchanting was 375 (max TBC level) and char level 70.
Now, enchanting is as shown in the armory and char level 80. Problem persists.
