Second Wind already nerfed on 2.0.3 *updated*

No longer procs on hunters' Freezing Trap. Also no longer procs on Gouge and Seduce.

It appears they disabled certain subcategories of immobilizing effects such as incapacitates and charms. Regardless of semantics, this is an undocumented change that adversely affects warriors.

Good list. Thank you.

As a general rule, tooltips are simplified and aren't necessarily going to reflect internal mechanics in great detail. The categories of abilities can be discerned, as they have in the list above, but may not be apparent to everyone. Arguing sematics is largely off the point, because these are internal design categories that may not always fit with 'lore' or an intuitive approach. It makes sense, it just might not be clearly worded as a legal document. ;)

Anyways, the bug fix for this was actually including abilites which Second Wind should have been proc'cing off of. Abilities such as Shadowfury, Counterattack, Inferno and a number of others. To regard this as simply something being taken away is one-sided. There were abilities which this was intended to proc off, which it was not.

With the correction in the script, it now adheres to our categorization of stun and immobilize. However, because of this, other effects which were proc'cing it now don't, because they were neither stuns nor immoblizing effects, according to our categorization of abilities.

Tseric, did it occur to you or any of the devs that perhaps the reason there is an outcry over this most recent nerf is that the *unintended* implementation makes a whole lot of sense, maybe more than what was originally designed?

Makes a whole lot of sense? Or people just liked the effect it was giving?

That's not reason to support a bug. By that reasoning any exploit which is giving player's a 'fun new approach' or 'adding something neat to PvP' should somehow be implemented or retained in game.
