I kind of like the lockout idea, makes sense lorewise as well. My question is, when does he respawn? Is it a soft reset respawn, or does he despawn for the rest of the week. If it's the former, many hardcore guilds will simply pull him, get attempts in, take a 30min AFK, then back to normal. If it's the latter, holy crap.
One hour per week.
