Should I play my mage or my priest as my main

I've been leveling up my priest for a while now and he just hit 53. I've been having second thoughts on him recently. Priests aren't what they used to be, and do I really want to stare at health bars for level 70 end game content? Idk...Should I continue playing my priest or should I play my mage.

It's been tough for me to decide which of my 60s to progress first once Burning Crusade launches. After much deliberation, I've chosen my Priest. It's impossible to tell another which class should be chosen, as such is a very personal decision. I will say that my choice was primarily based upon two factors; the role I most enjoy fulfilling when in group/raid environments, and the particulars of the new talents, spells and abilities.

Numerous other factors impacted my decision as well, and I took comfort in the fact that I didn't necessarily feel there was a wrong choise to make, just one that suited my play-style most.
