Blizz, Locks and Flying Mounts.. Help Please

Blizzard, please enable our pets to either follow us on our flying mounts or grant us a buff after landing our flying mount to summon our pet of choice instantly. Thanks.
You know, I think I remember this coming up before and discussing it, but I can't for the life of me remember if there was something being looked at or even changed in this regard. I'll try to do a double-check on this when I can and get back to you all.
