CMs might as well be robots?

Why are there even CMs on these forums? Their existence is just insulting to everyone who pays to play this game. They treat everyone on these forums like kids by responding with the most vacuous and useless posts... then they have the nerve to lock posts they deem lacking in content, how ironic eh? How stupid do they think we are? I'd rather they don't respond at all rather than responding with this sort of garbage:

"We're aware of the problem and are working to fix it."
"We cannot provide any further information on this topic at the moment."
"We cannot provide an ETA for that at the moment."
"We've passed this information on to the developers."

Gladiator's Satin Cowl missing from the vendor? We're doing something about it at some point in time.
Engineering patterns require mats that don't exist? Yeah, we're aware of it... we'll fix it when we give a damn.
Serpentshrine Cavern bosses bugging constantly? We'll get around to it 'sometime in a future patch.'

There have been at least 7 patches since BC came out, and still some of the most SIMPLE and OBVIOUS issues have not been addressed at all.

Can you imagine a stockholder's meeting at any other company where all they ever say is "We have big plans, but we can't tell you anything about them... so just keep giving us your money an you'll see what it is whenever we get around to it." They'd be bankrupt in minutes.

Q u o t e:

Have you ever considered what an ETA is? If they make it clear that it's an ESTIMATE no one will have a heart attack when they don't deliver on time.

If you truly believe this, I applaud you for your optimism and welcome you as a newcomer to the forum community. ;)

On topic, however, if you have concerns about the methods employed by the Community Managers or other blue posters, you should e-mail wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com with your comments. Thanks!
