Blizzard Post
A list of things that we will learn (or relearn) from The Burning Crusade. Feel free to add anything you like.

1) Hunters level faster than the general population
2) Your T2 gear is actually going to last you quite awhile
3) Raiding Guilds will Always have better stuff than non-raiders
4) More guilds will start casually raiding
5) MC is even more fun at 70
6) World PvP events are rarely controlled by horde on PvE servers
7) Outland is going to be the new Tauren Mill bloodbath on PvP servers
8) Nobody will ever run Dire Maul again, and in a year new players wont even know it exists.
9) Mages will be the most hated class after they get their stealth ability
10)Grinding for gold at lvl 60 pre-expansion wasnt worth it
11)BE females are also oddly attracted to mailboxes
11b.) Mailboxes also have the tendency to steal the clothes from BE females.
12)Shaman arent that great at PvE
13)Paying $400 on Ebay for a copy of TBC-CE just to get it a day before your friends wasnt worth it.
14)Flying. Is. Awsome. nuff said.
15)Being able to solo a 45 min baron run is the best feeling in the world
16)Calling a lvl 60 a newb or a lowbie is no longer an insult
17)Pallies make pretty good tanks
18)Even after the extended Beta test, there will still be bugs.
19)That suddenly all lowbies will be asking for lvl 70's to run them through deadmines .... because 60 isnt good enough anymore.
20)In the first few weeks everytime one of these reported "greens that is better than teir 3" drops, it will be a matter of who can ninja it the fastest.
21) Mage portals back to azoroth will be overpriced but worth every penny

and 22) .... Patience is a virture....that not many wow players have :)

Add anything as you see fit:

Q u o t e:
You left out bombing runs.

I agree with Crepe. The list is not complete without bombing runs.

Altered from "What I learned in Kindergarten" with my own touches:

  • Share loot. Your buddy might just save your life with that new shiny sword and there is plenty to be had and earned.
  • If you hit someone, make sure you finish the job or they'll just bring back a lot more friends and take back the tower.
  • Clean up your own spawn. No one likes littered corpses everywhere. Let's keep Outland nice folks!
  • Don't take things that aren't yours. The person you ninjaloot from today may just be the one that watches you die to the enemy tommorrow.
  • Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. (I threw this in for the Gnome contingent.)
  • When you go out in the world, watch out for Fel-Reavers, hold hands and stick together. (Use the buddy system especially on PvP realms.)
  • Flush. No really. The people you live with will appreciate the extra second you were away from the computer.
  • Be aware of wonder. Just don't stare at the Outland sky too long or some mob (or person) will kill you when you're too busy oohing and ahhing. There are lots of great quests that will keep you busy.
  • When you get tired, go to bed. Your party members will thank you for it and you won't wake up with waffle imprints on your face from your keyboard.
  • Everyone dies sometime but thankfully there are plenty of graveyards and Spirit Healers to get us back on our feet.
  • Say you're sorry when you are the reason for a wipe. There's no point covering it up (especially when you're the only 'x' class in the party that could have done it.) Smaller groups mean you get noticed easier.
