Hard to search AH? Too Hard to Make it easy?

Blizz i don't understand why the little search engine you guys have in the Auction House is not very good what so ever at all. It's like so sensitive on everything you type in it. Even if you miss an apostrophe(') or forget to add an "s" at the end or accidentally added an "s" to whatever you are searching for doesn't show up at all. I just think the search engine should be a lot better and not so sensitive. Maybe like a little mini Google search engine and even if you misspell a word it will show you results.

Or make it even better and make it more like the /who command. Like in the AH if you type" "2-9 strength agility"" it will show you results of items with 2-9 strength and show you them with additional agility on them.

Also 1 more thing i think AH search engine should have, is searching for Recipes for your profession should be easier just by simply adding an option to arrange the recipes by skill level either by ascending or descending order. It's really simple. Or just make us only be able to type 130-155 in the search box and make the recipes with the skill level requiring 130-155 show up.

Also the categories for the gems as a lot of people has been waiting for.

Please take this under your consideration :

Thanks you:

You can type in part of the word, and all applicable items containing those characters will be displayed. Adding erroneous characters will obviously prevent what you're looking for from displaying. Also, if searching for an item in your own inventory to run a price check for instance, before placing an auction, you can simply shift-left-click the item into the text field, similar to how you'd link an item into chat.

With that being said, we're also working to improve our user-interface, which includes the auction house. Below are some of the changes slated to be implemented for the next patch.

  • The Auction House now has a reset button that will reset all fields you have entered to allow you to quickly try a different search.
  • When items are being put up for sale on the Auction House, if the item you are putting up for bid is the same item and quantity as the previous item you put up for bid, it will automatically fill in the price and buyout for you with your previous price.
  • Gems are now searchable in the Auction House under the heading of Gem with the gems then broken up by color so you can search for all gems of a specific color.
