Is anyone else sick of this mentality?

I'm running shadow labs right now. I'm also aldor. However, I don't put up with people who say "Need the fel armament if you're Aldor". It isn't fair to the other faction because they can trade fel armaments for arcane tomes. This is what my warlock did, anyhow. He is a Scryer.

I never thought it was fair for people to say "Need the arcane tome if you're Scryer" in any TK instance, either.

I'm just wondering how the rest of you deal with it. To me, letting someone need just because they're a certain faction isn't a good enough reason on a BoE item that can be traded for the other faction's equivalent.

In the majority of pugs I've run with, everyone rolls since just as you say, these items can be traded evenly across the board. However, this wasn't the case a few times for me, and to be honest I was fine with it.

I never argue (or really care) on rules involving greed items. On a long enough time line, gold is infinite and reputation can be purchased.
