PTR 2.1 Notes - "Players will now be able to access the "Looking For Group Channel" by joining the "Looking For Group/Looking for More" tool."

Nice change? Yes, it is. But it's sad that the best tool we have is a chat channel.

What's next? Should we revert back to playing text MUDs? ;)

Don't dis text MUDs. Most of them had better gameplay and features than most MMOs.

There will be more changes made to the Looking For Group tool in the future. This change is in for the 2.1 patch however.

Why is the answer always "in the future"?

Because we do not have time machines in order to implement things in the past? :)

Unfortunately, there are only so many hours in a day and the team has a very lengthy "to do" list they have been steadily working on. If we could reorder time to get more accomplished, we would, but we're not quite done getting the time machine up and running.

Neth, is an efficient platform for LFG not a high enough priority to warrant a reallocation of available man-hours? This is a massively multiplayer game; one would think that grouping would be integral.

It is just one of many features that is high on the priority list. It's easier to manage tasks and timing from your end of the fence, but on ours, things are very very busy on many things at once and all of them are equally important.

We will keep everyone informed on the progress of improvements as much as we can, however.
