I See Faces in WoW...Seek Help?

The majority of textures either repeat, or appear back-to-back and sometimes create odd images when tiled in a certain way that created a symmetrical pattern. Couple that with the very common and very normal way our brains work to attempt to actually recognize faces, sometimes in inanimate objects, and you're probably seeing something that's just a coincidence. And that most everyone would probably see too if they took the time. Once you see one though you're probably putting forth extra effort in attempts to see them everywhere. There are actually some literal smiley-faces purposefully put into the game, but they're few and quite obvious.

I remember receiving an e-mail one time from a player of WarCraft III who was asking why we had recorded the voices for the units when created or selected to call out his name, and what it meant when they urged him "not to tell".

As long as you don't go that far I think you're probably ok.
