Players want epics, we know that for a fact. So after taking on the journey to get 5000 gold to get the skill and then purchasing the mount after that, they can call it something different if they want. If you want to call it your super duper cool and speedy mount, I guess that would work, but thankfully "epic flying mount" is a description that works for most people.
