For those of us that are old school...

I don't think it's too much to ask for when i request that old school players get some recognition from blizz. After all, we've been paying the longest out of anyone (this toon was made the day the game came out) and not to mention it takes serious dedication to avoid rerolling when stuff doesnt seem like its working out. For anyone else who played a resto druid at 60 and 70, youll know what I'm talking about.

I suggest that blizz give surnames to those of us who they can verify are "old school" using whatever criteria they like, i trust em. It shows some customer appreciation on their part, finally implements a long-awaited feature for some of us (at the very least those of us that played EQ) and i think if everyone thinks about it, theyd have to admit that this would be a positive step overall for the game. One more thing for new characters to aspire to, ya know? Thoughts?
