ZA Gear severely lacks in defense. = (

So.. I've been doing some number crunching...and the ZA gear just lacks too much defense to be viable for raiding. We NEED to have 490 defense to be uncrushable, but it's stopping quite a bit short. Alot of pieces dont have defense at all, and could use it. (For example the axe and the shield, and quite a bit of the armor pieces.)

This place is supposed to be an upgrade to Kara, so why do I need to mix and match my Kara Tanking gear with this ZA gear to have enough defense? Can this please be fixed so I can upgrade fully from this raid?

While defense affects crits and not crushing blows, the tanking gear in Zul'aman provides more options for players. For example if you have enough defense already, there are items where you can get more shield block value or hit rating or stamina which should improve your overall tanking statistics.
