Inner-guild ninjas and name changing.

One reason I'm not a fan of the whole name changing capability.

We had a guy in guild last night take out 5 of the most valuable items (as that is the set limit we have for withdrawls) and then 'disappear'. My guess is that he changed his name as I don't see him on another server when looking up the name/race/class in the armory.

Has anyone else experienced this? And, is there a way to track name changes?

Thanks.

Can never be too careful with valuable guild assets I guess.

How is it possible to be careful enough? Officers that are supposed to be "trusted" betray their "friends" trust all the time due to drama. For that matter so do Guild Leaders.

If you don't trust the officer(s) and/or guild master:

1) Why are you in the guild?
2) Why did you put your items in the guild bank they have access to?

Also in reply to the blue post, Trust is a fickle thing and stupid stuff happens.

I totally agree. I'm just saying that if I deposit something I can’t expect a 100% turnaround or think everything will go perfect. If I want to safeguard something, I’ll keep it on one of my own characters.

Maybe you can answer a question.

How come the name change does not change to your new name in the armory or forums.

It does update for these eventually, it has for a couple of my guildmates, it just isn’t instant and requires some extra time.
