This one i wasnt sure about, so i watched the movie for confirmation. Man that movie was great when it was released...watching it now made me sad :(

If you haven't read the book, please do. It's far superior to what the movie did. Though they did a good job on the bugs.

I have a hard time choosing a favorite NPC though. The ones I tend to enjoy most are the ones I recognize as being named after a co-worker. :)
