*Scratches her head* We sort of like the idea of continuing to make World of Warcraft the best MMORPG out there. We also like the idea of continuing to push the envelope and developing something new as well. But, these fears, conjectures, and discussions are a bit premature yet. Let's stick to discussing WoW for now and when we get to a point in time where there is more concrete information about the new project, we'll share it and discuss it then. ;)

You make a false assumption that the Community Team does not fall into the category of "we" when it comes to discussing the aims and goals of the company or into the contribution toward projects within the company. "We" are comprised of many departments that play many roles and all work toward common goals.

We haven't announced anything yet. The most we've done is posted up job listings and confirmed that it is for a new "next gen" MMO.
