We don't have any plans to increase the speed of land mounts at this point in time. There will be plenty of ways of getting around in Northrend and plenty to do along the journeys you take.

Beta is being conducted, people are getting invitations, invitations are random, and will be ongoing as we progress through the beta. I can't give you much more than that though. We're just getting started on this so please be patient if you haven't been selected for beta as of yet. It's an exciting time for us as well and we're looking forward to getting everyone's impressions and feedback on the hard work that has been going into the expansion.
