Well here's what I'm wanting to do. Since I don't play my druid ever anymore, I'm wanting to sell that character (and only that one) to a friend of mine.

What I need to know is if I can create a 2nd account under my name, then transfer the druid to it and then hand it over to my friend, leaving the rest of my toons on my regular account. Does this cost any money or take a certain amount of time? Thanks.

The selling of World of Warcraft accounts, characters, and/or items is against the Terms of Use - http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html I highly recommend against doing so else the account/characters involved would likely be terminated as a result.
