So how is the starting area?

Is it worth taking my lunch break right now or should I wait a bit? Although realistically it's gonna be flooded for the next several days so I doubt an hour would make a difference. Plus anybody who can answer this is probably not going to be on the forums.

Doesn't look too bad from where I'm standing - was a bit flooded for about 5-10 minutes, but I waited around and it thinned out.

Also, with mob tapping rules changed in 7.0.3, it should be easier to acquire the kills you need for quests on Mardum.

I am seeing some people phase in and out infront of me but when I go I seem to die to all the demons there.

I'm not sure how Mardum phasing works, but you should be able to take those on your own. They don't all pull together. ;)
