Most folks who have spent much time in the Storm Peaks have done this quest. You visit each of temples around the zone and look for the rest of the watchers. One of the temples, "The Temple of Order", has the following quest text associated with it:

----

At the Temple of Order:

Mobile Databank says: Temple of Order analysis commencing.
Mobile Databank says: Temple of Order verified to be in-tact.
Mobile Databank says: No indications of struggle are present. No guardians are present.
Mobile Databank says: Watcher Tyr verified to no longer be present. Analysis complete.

----

As a keeper of Order, he's...kinda missing the ball here.

Wowwiki suggests that maybe he went to Uldum in Tanaris, for whatever reason. He seems to be associated in part with the Vrykul, as he has a terrace named after him in Utgarde keep. He has no place at all inside Ulduar that could be dedicated to him, so...where is he?

Tyr went on a path he felt he must follow... whether or not we learn about this journey remains to be seen.

You must be trolling.

Týr (pronounced /ˈtɪər/;[1] Old Norse: Týr [tyːr]) is the god of single combat, victory and heroic glory in Norse mythology, portrayed as a one-handed man.

Oh thank you, for a moment there I was truly afraid no one actually knew the origin of Tyr... You have saved my sanity.

He's hanging out in the Forgotten Realms.

So you think he is chillin with Helm and Torm? That may be a different Tyr.
