Tear soaked "Druids in Arenas" QQ

Yup, im gonna lay it on the line right now, this is me crying about druids, im having a massive QQ about them and the page is literally soaked with my tears. You have been warned...

Ok so im on a Retribution Paladin/Discipline Priest 2v2 team. We are both in full Honor gained, level 80 PvP gear, both around 850 resi each, and on average I do around 5-7k crits against a fully geared opponent, and, even though im not amazing at arena as were both relatively new to it, I know what im doing and so does my partner. The problem comes when we come up against any team with a druid. We physically cannot outdamage their mana regen + HoT's. We start by burning the druid down as quickly as possible, but it will just switch to tree form and run (at normal speed which is a massive advantage in arena now) around the arena, switching forms when stunned or CC'd, and healing to max health in under a second. So we drain more.... his mana is down to less than 1k, all of a sudden the mana pool is full again, I would guess due to invigorate, which is on a very short cooldown from what I can see.

On top of all this, they always start stealthed so we cannot prepare for them, which could mean were up against a rogue or a druid, which again is another advantage. If they do get down to low health by sheer lucky critting and very quick stuns at the right moment, they just pop into travel form and leg it, then stealth up and hide, while their HoT's heal them up. Now please dont think im asking for a massive nerf here, but something needs to be done to power them down a little, as once you come up against a Druid/Warrior team, they are pretty much unbeatable.

We spam Mass Dispel, Mana Burn, stuns and other CC's but you just cant outdamage a well geared druid (altho even the crappy geared ones seem to be lasting forever).

It has got to the point where if I see a Druid pop up on Gladius, I just leave the arena, as its usually 10-15 minutes of running about like a moron while all my damage is negated.

I would suggest maybe some of the following:

Restore Tree Forms previous movement speed reduction
Give HoT's a 1 second cast time, so if quick enough, can be stunned from School of Magic
A cast time on form changes, or adjust the remove CC effect from Polymorph
Remove Tree Form Armor Bonus from items

Now I want to add, I love my druid, and I really enjoy playing it, but even I think it feels overpowered when im playing on it. It just seems that every other class has a specialism, but Druids excel at all 3 roles. They dont need a massive class breaking nerf, just a little pruning of their leaves, as its increasingly frustrating to come up against one.

(I also understand the irony of a Retribution Paladin asking for another class to be nerfed, but hey, we all have our hang ups in WoW, and just wanna say that Retribution isnt as overpowered as people might make out, its just a little outbalanced). Oh and giving Warriors the ability to pop our bubble without a cooldown, even though ours is a massive cooldown, Q_Q_Q_Q_Q_Q! Thats our one chance to shine bright, and you make us fall flat.

Q u o t e:
“Nerf x” threads is not something anyone really enjoys reading so please avoid creating threads with the intention of asking for a nerf for another class.
