so, apparently the Brew of the Month Club achv is required to get the Brewmaster achv which is needed for the What a Long, Strange Trip Its Been achv

does this mean that it will take a year to complete the meta achv's since we didnt have achvs last year for Brewfest?

Brew of the Month is a new achievement that is being added and is part of the meta achievement. Brew of the Year is still there but is no longer part of the meta achievement. Brew of the Month can be obtained much much faster than 1 year.
