It's likely that you still won't be able to connect automatically from the Battle.net Desktop App, in this case, please try to enter your credentials directly in the in-game login screen.
We've also deployed a new hotfix to resolve some crashes players were having after using certain abilities.
Things are still not at 100%, so please let us know of any issues you might still be experiencing right here.

Update - Alpha realms went live, but unfortunately you probably won't be able to connect as there are numerous login issues at the moment, we're doing our best to sort this out but it will take some extra time. We'll keep you updated.

Hello everyone!
We're in the process of deploying a new build to the Alpha realms, due to this, the realms had to be taken down for a little while, but don't worry, you'll be able to test out all the new stuff in no time!
There is no ETA yet but we'll update you once everything is ready. You can also keep an eye on this thread if you can't wait to jump into the game the second the realms go live, as it might be updated before this one if the realms come back up during the night.
