First week the new battlenet website was launched I created a new account and linked it to my WoW & added all my blizzard made games.

I've tried to use the blizzard downloader to download games I added such as Warcraft 3 TFT & Starcraft anthology & Diablo 2 but every time I get the same error when it attempts to download using the downloader.

"This download is not authorized"

"There was a problem authenticating your download. please go to www.blizzard.com/account/ to start a new download"

Since then I've reformatted my PC twice & still no luck.
I have no firewall, I'm using a hub so it's not a router issue.

I'm on Shaw Cable & I live in Vancouver B.C Canada.

I've posted here before with no help, Can anyone give me a hand?

I can't figure out the problem for the life of me and it's driving me nuts, I can't play

EDIT: I used www.canyouseeme.org & checked if port 3724 was open...Doesn't look like it and I think that's the blizzard downloaders port...

I'm not sure as to why it's blocked, I only have windows built in firewall on my computer which has enabled that port & I also disabled the firewall.

Hi Elenterx,

Please make sure you're not using any type of proxy or VPN service for your internet connection as the downloader will tag itself to whatever connection your browser came from. Delete the old launchers, then go to Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> LAN Settings -> Uncheck automatically detect settings. Hit OK, then go back to the Battle.net site (http://www.blizzard.com/account) and download the downloaders. Run them and see if they can start up properly.

I'm not sure on the Chinese version. You could give Billing a call to see if they can do something for you - http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=20606
