Feeling disconnected.

This game is a bigger part of my life then I would like to admit. This game is a part of me really, a part I am losing.

The last 3 years of WoW, has been 1 year of updates and patches and 2 years of nothing. I started to lose my love for the people working with World of Warcraft.

Tonight, I did. The fact that a company shuts down 150.000 weekly users still loving your game is a sign that there is no longer any real contact with the different groups of fans you have. Yes, the server is illegal, I know. Still, this server is not provided by the creators and the fact that people created this server during free time and the server was founded by users and creators proves the love for this game. The itching at work to get home to play.

I understand that a private server gets shutdown, its the silence I do not understand. These people who were playing are YOUR fans, playing YOUR game. These are not people pirating a game that is being sold, these are people who are fans of a game that is no longer obtainable in a legit way. Are you seeing your fans? Do you have any affections at all for this part of your fanbase?

I will always play WoW, thats just how it is. Unfortunately at this moment, I hold no love for the game and its creators because I feel so far from you that it is no longer possible.

To the players; the community is everything, I love you guys.

English is not my first language, excuse my errors.
