Inappropriate use of Swapblaster

I was in a Eye of the Storm battleground earlier this evening when my own teammates (two of them), decided they were going to grief their own team by using this item to kill flag carriers and random players of our own faction.

Why is this item allowed to be used in a battleground? Please remove the ability for this item to be used in a PVP environment.

Giving everyone an advanced heads-up on a hotfix that's currently in testing. It's not ready for the live realms yet, but will be implemented as soon as it's ready.

Swapblaster no longer works while in a Battleground..
Edit: That didn't take long. The change is now live.

Make the swapblaster opt in. It should only be useable on other players carrying a swapblaster, and make it give a buff or debuff to alert other player to who has one.

Can't you just use the item that makes you immune for 12 hours? It costs like 40 silver on the AH.

In upcoming Patch 6.1,

Neural Silencer will also make players immune to the effects of

Swapblaster.
