EDIT: We pulled sprinting into the room trying to fit a last attempt in. 3 hours of overtime raiding left our consumable supplies a bit stretched. It was 4 in the morning. Thank you to all of the future detectives out there that noticed we couldn't get food buffs with while running into the instance up to the boss.

That is just gut wrenching. Although, and it may not seem like it now, that's kind of an amazing story you'll all have forever. In 30 years when young gamers are playin' their holograms, they'll sit around in awe of stories of the games you played--which you had to do using your hands (gasp)--and the one time you just barely missed a kill, and how it strengthened your resolve and determination.
