ETA on addons?

I hate the base interface and haven't used it since Vanilla. When I tried some addons that I know should work because their strings are intact, I get it labeled as 'insecure'. I assume that means addons are not allowed yet.

So when can we expect to be able to use addons, because after 9 years, I am rather dependent on them ;)

As others have said, addons complicate the testing process early on. They can really interfere with bug reports and crash logs. We'll let players know when we're enabling addons, which is likely to be around the time that we're ready to do raid testing.
