Alpha Realms Offline - June 20-25

Update June 24:

We're working on creating a build that's not only stable, but ensures that alpha participants are able to fully test the latest Warlords content -- such as the Shadowmoon Valley Alliance quest and Garrison content, and the Tanaan Jungle introductory Draenor experience. That said, we don't currently expect that a new build will be ready for release today. Our goal remains to release a solid build as soon as possible, and we'll provide further updates once we have a more specific timeframe for bringing the alpha realms back online.

We can't wait to give you an early opportunity to step through the Dark Portal into Tanaan Jungle, and break ground on your Alliance Garrison in Shadowmoon Valley! Thank you for bearing with us during this time. :)

To update everyone, we're in the process of working on a suitable alpha build to get testers into the Shadowmoon Valley Alliance experience. Unfortunately, given the nature of this process, we don't anticipate being able to bring the alpha realms back online today. Our goal is to identify a working build so that we can deploy it tomorrow for alpha participants to test out.

As always, we appreciate your patience and look forward to hearing your feedback about Shadowmoon Valley. :)

Update June 20:

We're in the process of bringing down the Alpha realms while we work to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, it's going to require an updated build, which we won't be able to finish today. Realms will remain offline over the weekend while we get everything ironed out. We hope to be able to bring the Alpha back up on Monday, June 23rd.

Again, we greatly appreciate your patience during this time. We'll get you back to Draenor as soon as we possibly can.

Hello all,

We've taken the alpha realms down for the evening while working to prepare a new test build. Please note that the realms will be offline for the remainder of the day and the alpha will be inaccessible during this time.

Our current plan is to bring them back online tomorrow evening, Friday, June 20. We'll provide an update if we anticipate any additional downtime, as our hope is to get you back on Draenor as soon as possible.

Your patience during this time is much appreciated!

Is this when you'll be switching over to testing the Alliance starting zone?

That's still to be determined while we're working on pushing out a stable build.

What crash are you seeing on PC?

But it patched up to 18443 for you using the Battle.net app?

Since we haven't posted yet today I wanted to give everybody an update, but I feel like I let you folks down the last time I posted a "get hyped gif" and then didn't deliver. So let's just say that we're actively working on finalizing a stable build and looking to get it applied to the Alpha Realms.

I'll provide further updates as soon as I know more, which should be in the next few hours.
