ELIXIR of Ancient Knowledge?

Elixir of Ancient Knowledge should not be called elixir if it does not persist through death. I got one shotted by a level 90 after using my Elixir of Ancient Knowledge not even 4 minutes before he killed me and when I rezzed it was gone. Is it an elixir or not?

You're thinking of flasks. The effects of flasks persist through death.
