Mine was stepping through the dark portal. Apparently I timed it just right and the first thing I saw was a wave of demons at the top of the stair well charging through the portal.

"Whoa!"
(Upon seeing and pulling the first two trash mobs and our 40-player raid wiping on them.)

When was your first "Whoa" moment in WoW.

My first one was during the Alpha... I logged in with a Night Elf (it's what was being tested at the time) and just stared at the vibrancy of the world and the softly falling leaves and petals from the trees.
My second was seeing Orgrimmar for the first time. The realization hit me that I was IN Warcraft. In the very lands I had experienced from an overhead viewpoint for so long. Seeing it from the ground up was... Whoa...
