Timeless Isle Gear and Use of Burdens

So I totally get why, when you pick up one of the Timess Plate Belt (or whatever) items and you click on it to reveal it, the stats are randomized. I get that. You don't want people to quickly and easily be able to pick and choose stats.

But why is it, when I finally actually get a Burden of Eternity, do I have to go through the same crap again, rather than just using it to upgrade an already revealed item? It takes plenty long enough to get the 'right' affix on the 496 gear, it's absurd to try getting the 'right' affixes on 535 gear. Or is that the whole point, that we shouldn't really be using the 535s as anything more than hole-patches for normal mode raiding? =-\

We like the extra rarity that comes from requiring multiple Burdens to get perfectly-itemized 535 gear. The gear is very good, so we don't want it to be too easy to get a hold of the best possible pieces.
