I believe you may be misunderstanding the policy. Not only is trading items cross-server not supported, neither is trading a pet code for any in-game item. A game code is not an in-game item; the pet it produces is.

For clarification, any virtual items that can be placed on the Auction House for sale, such as the majority of TCG pets/mounts or other in-game non-combat pets which are Bind on Equip may be purchased for gold.

Once the code is claimed, it's claimed to your license. Thus, the Blossoming Ancient does not qualify and attempting to trade the code for in-game items unsupported and actionable.
