No BOA shields?!!

Highly disappointed that there are no BOA shields, things people have wanted and desired for a long time, but you still give the caster there off-hand book?

Zarhym gave an update on the status of heirloom shields here. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/8087929647?page=3#43

Heirloom shields were originally planned to be added in patch 5.2, but, unfortunately, due to a late-breaking bug with these items which prevented them from properly scaling with level, we had to remove them. We still want to get these shields in the game and plan to do so in a future patch.

Whoa, i didnt know birds stay up this late.


I came across the thread while looking up 5.2 patch note info for an alt I was leveling up and wanted to share what I know. Writing/compiling patch notes has filled me with so much knowledge; I'm bursting at the seams!
