Extending maintenance is okay

But, why dont you guys tell us beforehand when it is going to be extended? For example, if it is supposed to end at 11 PST, tell us at 10 it is going to be extended?

I think they would know when it is going to take longer than expected, especially if it is supposed to end at 11 and suddenly jumps to 1. I feel like they could tell us when that is going to happen sooner than it actually does so the players could be more aware.

It has become necessary to extend today’s regularly scheduled maintenance by approximately two hours. We currently anticipate that realms will become available at 1:00 p.m. PST, though we will revise that estimate if the situation changes.
