We're currently bringing the 5.1.0 PTR up. I'll be updating this thread with time estimates and updates as I receive them.

Initial time estimate is 5-7 hours from this posting.

As always I keep this thread open and relaxed, please keep the discussion respectful and reasonably game-related.

When it's available you'll have to redownload, the previous PTR and Betas cannot be patched.

Going to push back the time a bit, probably going to be around 5 hours from now. First push of a patch cycle usually takes a bit longer.

No 90 templates as of right now.

We didn't purge the PTR realms, characters you made there should still be there.

I'd say 1-2 hours from now.

Also big caveat, I'm going to make a sticky about this in bug reports, Battle Pets do not work in this build. There's a crash when you finish a battle, so if that's what you're excited for in the PTR you'll have to hang tight.

Yes, if you attempt to download the PTR now you should be getting the 5.1 build.

That's why they're currently down. We're fixing some flagging issues.

I don't have a good ETA for when they'll be back up but we are actively working on this.

If you're not seeing servers you're probably using your Beta account (likely WOW2)

Try using the other wow account (likely WOW1).
