Nice of Blizzard to let it's customer in on this secret rather than spring a surprise.

Customer service and relation seems to be job none with Blizzard

The patch is pretty small. It shouldn't be a long download for most players, and once you've patched you're good to go.

This isn't a maintenance period, so once patching is done you can log in and play.
