What kind of issues are you guys seeing now? As Frost, my Frost Strike hits for 20k. Rune Strike is also pretty insane. Runes still seem to be having problems here and there, as well.

The current alpha build isn't very far along on the DK revamp. We basically just doubled the strike damage so that dps wouldn't collapse with the slower rune regeneration. We're now in the process of working on an actual rotation so DKs aren't just sitting there waiting for runes to come back half the time.

We don't think the next build will have the DK changes, but hopefully the one after that. I can't give you a reasonable estimate for when those will go out though. :(

Rotation-wise, imagine that say a Frost DK has a rotation similar to what you have today: Plague Strike, Icy Touch, Blood Strike, Blood Strike, Obliterate with Frost Strike using runic power. The difference will be the procs and other things to fill in the rune uses. For example, Frost will be generating a lot more runic power, so you might be able to work several Frost Strikes or Death Coils in among those Blood Strikes. You might also get runes to recharge for free, allowing you to get another Blood Strike, Icy Touch or perhaps even Howling Blast in there. At high level, abilities like Outbreak will let you skip the disease application abilities and go right to the big guns.

There' still some polish needed on Dark Simulacrum. We are going to try and let it affect everything we possibly can, but there have to be some limitations. Copying pets and the like is just something we can't handle really well. We also need to make sure that some effects have a duration. It's probably okay to copy Shadowform, but Shadowform itself has no duration and the DK version needs to. :)
