Beta Server Maintenance - 5/18/12

Greetings All! Beta realms are currently down for maintenance. I'll be updating this thread with information and time estimates as I receive them.

Currently estimating between 4 and 6 hours of downtime from this posting.

These threads are usually pretty relaxed but please keep it constructive and respectful.

If I may be so bold to ask Sapperwix, is this a new beta build and such? Or is this to make the servers more stable. Cause I've been getting a lot of disconnects when looting and turning in quests.

It's a semi-big bug that should be investigated.

Yes to both for your first question. We are also currently researching that particular disconnect issue.

Currently no plans to open up new zones, content, or level 90 with this build at this time.

Just curious, will this build contain a fix for the mount bug? Not that it's a big deal or anything, but it would be nice to not have to log out and log in a few times to get them to show back up on Pandaria.

The mount issue should be fixed in this build.

Should be less than 3 hours from this point.

Minor delay in the maintenance, should still be around 2 to 3 hours from this post.

Should be 1 to 2 hours now. We're also at the point that it could happen sooner than that.

Barring any other delays (is it just me or do I sound like a pilot on a grounded airplane?) we're looking at about an hour or less.

Servers are coming up now. Might be a couple minutes before world servers populate but for all intents and purposes they're live.
