why is faction change 30$?

so i realize that blizz likes making money but why does faction change cost 5 dollars more than server transfer? they are both automated and as much as blizz likes to say they are not, unless something goes seriously wrong the are. the cost of them should at least be the same price if not lower for both just because they both take the same amount of time.
