Paladin Changes: Build 12479

I'll be editing this repeatedly over the night so please excuse how crude the initial post starts out.

•Sacred Cleansing - Your Cleanse spell now also dispels 1 Magic effect.(Talent, )

•Purifying Power - When you Cleanse a harmful effect, you have a 50/100% chance to strike the the caster of the harmful effect with your Judgement ability.(Talent, )

•Lay on Hands - Now earned at level 38, up from 9.

•Judgements of the Pure - Your Judgement spell increases your casting and melee haste by 3/6/9% for 1 min.(Talent, )

•Judgement - Now also prevents them from fleeing.

•Inspired Judgement - Your Judgement spell also heals your Beacon of Light target for 50/10% of the damage caused.(Talent, )

•Illumination - After getting a critical effect from your abilities you gain mana equal to 10/20/30% of the base cost of the spell.(Talent, )

•Holy Shock - Mana cost reduced to 8% base mana from 18% base mana.

•Healing Bonus - Increases the effectiveness of your healing spells by 10%.(Instant cast, )

•Flash of Light - Now earned at level 16, up from 12.

•Exorcism - Now earned at level 9, down from 32. Reduced to 10 sec cooldown from 15.

•Enlightened Judgements - Increases the range of your Judgement spell by 15/30 yards and grants you hit rating equal to 50/100% of any Spirit gained from items or effects.(Talent, )

•Divine Plea - Now earned at level 68, down from 71.

•Divine Illumination - Increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and attacks by 30%.(15 sec duration, 3 min cooldown, Increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and attacks by 30%., Talent, )

•Cleanse - No longer removes a magic effect.

Recently Added:

•Divine Shield - Duration Reduced to 8 seconds.

•Selfless Healer - Your healing spells have a 2/4/6% additional chance to crit when used on others.

•Divinity is now in the Holy Tree

• Seals of the Pure moved to Prot

• Blinding Shield implemented - 1029 mana at level 81. 1.5 second cast time, 1 minute cooldown. Requires shields. Does 500 (non scaling) damage to enemies within 8 yards of you. If any of those enemies are facing you they are blinded for 3 seconds.

These are old talents. This is not the paladin revamp that we said was coming. Sorry, you'll just have to wait a little bit longer.

This is true. JoW was really only a big deal for hunters, shaman and paladins themselves, and those are all solvable in other ways.

It is still called Divine Favor, still grants a 100% crit chance to the direct heals and Holy Shock (to tie into all the "on crit" mechanics in the tree) and has a 1 min cooldown.

Crit heals in general should be more attractive in Cataclysm where they won't all be overhealing.

Druids aren't as far along as paladins, so I'm sure we'll hear now how they are always last. :)

There is no Divine Illumination. Divine Favor is 100% chance to crit on your next heal with a 1 min cooldown.
