The second day of tournament action at BlizzCon 2011 was even more exciting than the first. We witnessed the earth-shattering conclusions of the StarCraft II and World of Warcraft Global Battle.net Invitational.

StarCraft II Global Invitational Tournament

Please join us in congratulating IMMvp, the winner of the StarCraft II Global Battle.net Invitational. IMMvp hails from Korea and played brilliantly to emerge triumphant from a truly intimidating pool of players. Now, he’ll not only return home with the title, but a $50,000.00 cash prize too!

World of Warcraft Global Invitational Tournament

Meanwhile, team OMG from Korea defeated a slew of other world-class teams as they rose to the top to win the World of Warcraft Global Battle.net Invitational. Their clever tactics and immaculate teamwork catapulted them to victory, and we heartily congratulate them on their skill and effort. They’ll now split a grand prize of $75,000.00.

If you didn’t catch the action live, don’t worry. Our tournament ladders are updated on the BlizzCon Tournament page. We’ll be updating that page with replays and videos as soon as we can.
