My account keeps getting frozen Due to "a change in log in patterns " It happned when I was at a friends place for a couple days and then at my cousins ... will logging in to wow from a different Ip get you frozen and if you correct it at a friends house then play it on your normal computer will that cause it to be frozen too ? because this is quite inconvenient for people who play abroad ... I feel rather chilly ... better switch to frost

Once you've logged in from an IP, it's flagged as safe forever. If you go to a place that has an unrecognized IP, even with an authenticator, you'll be locked out until you change your password.

That isn't strictly true, Mirs. While I can't go into many details, if you log in from the same location often enough, on a relatively stable connection, the system will LEARN that's part of your normal pattern. Yes, there are differences between authenticator system and what would lock you out if you travel. Semi-overlapping but different systems.
