Transmogrification: The next cow to be milked

It looks to me like putting up mini pets and mounts to be bought with real money has been milked for all its worth, so naturally the next thing to do is let players pay real money to pick the way their armor and weapon looks.

I can easily see Blizz letting people buy their way out of having to actually have the armor set in storage to use its look, or even creating new armor set looks that only players who pay real money for it get to use its look.

The gold cost for Transmogrification hasn't been set in stone, but it's likely to be very similar to Reforging, meaning it'd scale with item level (probably the level of the item actually equipped).

I think it will be more then 1 g an item, I'm thinking 30 ish an item, size will probably be an issue also, if you want to make your little 2h look like a big bad 2h you will probably pay 50 gold. .. lol but 1 gold is way to low, I think blizzard wants this to be a bit of a gold sink.
