I dont know how it is on other realms, but on shadow council, the trade chat in the evening/late night gets way out of hand. the topics of discussion become vulgar and offensive. Just last night some guys were discussing the size of their ... anatomy... which evolved into an even more sexual discussion involving lewd acts with each others mother....
and that was just the beginning. some were even making jokes about !#%! and pedophilia. I try to report as spam every player I see making such offensive and inappropriate discussions but I still see the same ones back time and time again.. doing the same thing.

How hard would it be to have someone representing blizzard sitting in the trade chat enforcing the tos guidelines? If people saw a blue post once in a while in the chat maybe the people would straighten up a bit. I don't want to have to be the one to /leave the trade chat since I actually USE it to sell my crafted items sometimes. Something needs to be done to control the offensive language in trade chat. The post limit in trade does nothing for the vulgar language.

PLEASE Blizzard.. enforce the TOS in chat.. harsher punishments for people who get reported. or maybe even in game moderators that actually watch and even participate in the trade chats when necessary.

Locking this down for going off topic and because of the repeated Code of Conduct violations.

We appreciate the concern but this would be best dealt with by a Game Master, in private, and in game.

Please all, take the time to read the forum Code of Conduct. Even if the subject matter is edgy, it does not provide a reprieve from abiding by the guidelines we have in place to keep things civil and productive.
