Naxx gear needed for lvl 70 raiding?

In our guild we currently have sort of debate on whether or not we should bother to master Naxx now that TBC is out.

So far we managed only to kill the instructor, so mastering Naxx may take us a while. Do we need the gear drops from Naxx in order to stand a chance in the new lvl 70 raid dungeons, or is there equal or better loot to be found in the new instances?

While Naxx loot of course helps, I would say that quest rewards and the loot from the high level 5 man instances is enough for you to start doing Karazhan at least.

Both will require some time however, so it's up to you how you want to spend it. I personally enjoyed the fights in Naxxramas a lot, so I'd say you should at least try them even if you don't have to farm the place for weeks.
